Process

How 8covers works

Group occasions fail in the gaps: half-answered messages, prices that change shape, extras nobody tracks. 8covers closes those gaps with one brief and one order.

Three steps

Step 1

Write the brief once

You describe the occasion, the date window, the group size and what is non-negotiable. Nothing is sent anywhere until you authorize dispatch.

  • Hard requirements are separated from preferences
  • 'I don't know yet' is a valid answer on every field
  • Participants can add dietary and access needs without an account

Step 2

Receive comparable plans

Restaurants answer your brief with a structured plan. 8covers normalizes every plan to the same guest basis so the numbers can honestly be compared.

  • Every plan states VAT and service inclusion, or is marked unknown
  • Availability shows its evidence and when it was last confirmed
  • Plans that miss a hard requirement never outrank ones that meet it

Step 3

Confirm one event order

The restaurant and every extra live in one event order made of per-merchant suborders. Each merchant confirms its own part under its own policy.

  • Money is only due once the relevant suborder is confirmed
  • Changes are proposed as a diff and require each affected merchant to accept
  • Cancellation terms are shown per merchant, never averaged
